Jim Messina, CEO of Fortius Global, said that he is 'cautiously excited' about Democrats' midterm chances, but signaled that he's not taking anything for granted before key races are called. Messina, who served as former President Barack Obama’s 2012 campaign manager, said that if Democrats wins both chambers of Congress, 'the map is much better' for a Democratic presidential candidate looking ahead to the 2028 election.
