These terms govern your use of topnewson.com (the “Service”), operated by INN Everything LLC, a Michigan limited liability company doing business as TopNewsOn (“TopNewsOn,” “we,” “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What TopNewsOn is

TopNewsOn is a news aggregator. We collect headlines, short summaries, and links from publicly available news feeds and organize them. We do not write or republish articles. Every headline links to the original reporting at its source, and that content belongs to its publisher.

2. Source ratings

Bias and reliability ratings shown in our Politics section are provided by Media Bias/Fact Check (MBFC), and each rating links to MBFC’s page for that source. These ratings are MBFC’s opinions and assessments, not statements of fact by TopNewsOn. We display them as provided and do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Some sources may not have a rating.

3. No professional advice

The Service is for general information only. Nothing on TopNewsOn is legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice, and we do not endorse any source, article, candidate, or position.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful;
• scrape, crawl, or access the Service by automated means in a way that burdens our systems, other than through standard search-engine indexing;
• interfere with, disrupt, or try to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
• impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

5. Third-party links and content

The Service links to websites we do not control, including news publishers, MBFC, and advertisers. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Intellectual property

The TopNewsOn name, logo, site design, and software belong to INN Everything LLC. Headlines, summaries, and images from news sources belong to their respective publishers. If you believe content on TopNewsOn infringes your copyright, contact us at [email protected] with a description of the work, where it appears on TopNewsOn, and your contact information, and we will respond promptly.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content, including source ratings, is accurate or complete.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOPNEWSON WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold TopNewsOn harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the Service.

10. Changes and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these terms; when we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
