Bayern assistant Danks: Kompany recovering well but no return yet

Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany is making progress in his recovery ahead of the team's away match in Mainz, assistant coach Aaron Danks said at a press conference on Friday. Danks could not yet say whether the 40-year-old Belgian could resume his role as coach of the German football record champions after his collapse two weeks earlier and a bout of meningitis following the international break.
